Terms of Use

1. The service

AirPhrase provides English–Japanese text and speech translation, plus Japanese-to-English photo translation, using on-device processing and online services. Translations are generated automatically and may contain omissions, mistranslations, or errors of context.

2. Acceptable use

The service is designed primarily for travel and everyday communication. Do not rely on it as your sole source for medical diagnosis, legal advice, financial decisions, emergency services, or other high-risk situations. Have important translations verified by a qualified person.

You must not use the service to infringe another person's rights, submit unlawful content, bypass access controls, automate abusive requests, disrupt the service, or engage in conduct prohibited by applicable law.

3. Auto-renewing subscription

• AirPhrase Plus is a monthly auto-renewing subscription. The price shown by Apple when you purchase is the price that applies.
• Eligible new subscribers may receive a three-day free trial. Apple determines eligibility, and an introductory offer is generally available only once per subscription group.
• At the end of the trial, the subscription renews automatically at the price Apple displays unless you cancel through your Apple account before the current period ends.
• Apple manages purchase confirmation, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• You can manage the subscription in iPhone Settings under your Apple Account and Subscriptions, or use Restore Purchases in the app.

4. Availability and changes

Online features depend on internet access, our servers, and third-party model services. On-device features depend on device performance and models supplied with the app. We may update the service for security, compliance, maintenance, or product improvement. We will not intentionally remove the core benefits of an active subscription during its paid term.

5. Intellectual property

The app, interface, code, brand, and content supplied with the app are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except where law permits, you may not copy, sell, rent, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit them without permission.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that translations will be perfectly accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it will suit every purpose. Our liability for losses caused by reliance on unverified translations, network outages, third-party service failures, or events beyond our reasonable control is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

See our Privacy Policy for information about data handling. Before using an online feature, make sure you have the right to submit the relevant text, audio, or photo.

8. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you. The parties should first try to resolve disputes informally; unresolved disputes may be submitted to a court with jurisdiction. Questions may be sent to support@xfields.ai.
